NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULTIPLE ENTRIES

(Only for German Shorthaired Pointers at Greater Muskegon KC Show Monday, May 26, 2008)

As the Judges' decision in the Stud Dog & Brood Bitch will be based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible for Best of Breed or Variety by virtue of having won these classes.

STUD DOG CLASS-For Stud Dogs and two of their Get. The Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and shown in the ring with his Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered seperately in one of the Regular Classes, the Veteran Class, or the Best of Breed Competition or may be entered in the Stud Dog Class only. The Get MUST by entered in one of the Regular Classes, the Veteran Class, or the Best of Breed Competition. The Stud Dog unit shall be considered as one entry and requires one regular entry fee. If the Stud Dog is entered in another class, then the regular entry fee applies for this class. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy or the standard for the Breed. Note: AKC rules allow a Neutered Dog to be entered as Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a Spayed Bitch to be entered as Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class.
