Dogs need be present only at scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused.

The Grounds will be available at 12:00 Noon & the Building from 2:00-10:00 pm on Friday, June 27, 2008 and starting at 6:00 am on Saturday, June 28, 2008. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Best In Show judging on Sunday, June 29, 2008.



ENTRY FEES-FOR EACH DAY

NOTE: ENTRY FEES MUST BE RECEIVED FOR EACH ENTRY FOR EACH DAY! IF FEES ARE RECEIVED FOR ONLY ONE DAY, ONLY THE FIRST DAY WILL BE PROCESSED.

ENTRY FEE is $25.00 for the first entry of each dog except Puppy Classes which are $18.00. Each Additional Entry of the same dog is $21.00. Each Rally Entry is $25.00. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP-$18.00 if an Additional Entry; $21.00 if entered for 'Junior Showmanship Only'. Fees include the 50¢ AKC Recording Fee and the $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee on the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, or the $3.00 AKC Recording Fee on each entry of a dog in Rally. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.)

Exhibitors should follow their Veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.


"Dogs found in an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way (for example: left unattended on a grooming table in a noose not attached to a safety release clip; left in a vehicle without proper ventilation) will be removed to safety. Exposing a dog to an unsafe environment, distress or harm's way is considered mistreatment."

• NOTE •

In order to comply with the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes [s. 95.21 (2)] and Administrative Codes [s. ATCP 11.52], relating to the Statewide Rabies Control Program, the owner of any dog kept or exhibited in Wisconsin (other than a dog kept for educational or scientific purposes) shall have the dog vaccinated against rabies by a veterinarian at no later than 5 months of age and revaccinated within one year after the initial vaccination.

Any person (including out-of-state exhibitors) who imports a dog into Wisconsin (for exhibition or any other purpose) must have a valid interstate health certificate or certificate of veterinary inspection for that dog, regardless of the age of the dog. The certificate must be completed by a veterinarian; accompany the dog when it enters this state; and indicate the current vaccination status of the dog. Vaccinations shall be administered by a veterinarian and comply with age and time standards and label instructions approved by the federal bureau for the type of vaccine used.

• Show site outside grounds will be available after 12:00 Noon Friday, June 27, 2008. The building will be available after 2:00 p.m. The building will open at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. All dogs must be removed from the Show Site Immediately following Best In Show Judging on Sunday, June 29, 2008.

• All exhibitors will enter the grounds through gates 7 and 8 on the west side of the building. Exhibitors will be directed to appropriate parking. Parking will be confined to gravel or black-top areas unless otherwise directed. Obedience exhibitors will be directed toward the Small Animal barn for parking.

• No dogs will be admitted through the main lobby (rotunda) of the building (a Fair Park policy).

• Admission will be charged at the parking lot entrance: $3/vehicle (except RV's), 2-day pass for $5.

• No private x-pens in the building.

• No Baby strollers in the building.

• All exhibitors are expected to clean -up their own grooming areas.

• Limited grooming will be available in the main building. All crates in the main building must be stackable. Soft-sided crates may be used as top crates only! All other grooming will be outdoors.

• Limited shelter and electrical is available for outdoor grooming.

• A security guard will be in the building overnight on Friday and Saturday....

UNENTERED DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE SHOW GROUNDS EXCEPT THOSE DOGS PARTICIPATING IN THE VET CLINIC.

Following Best in Show

The Kettle Moraine Kennel Club will hold a B-Match on the Show grounds a half hour following Best in Show judging on Saturday, June 28. Match entries close one half hour after Group Judging begins.

Classes offered will be Puppy 4 _ 6 mos., 6 _ 9 mos. and 9 _ 12 mos. and open. Puppies will not compete against Adults, Classes will be divided by sex and Best Puppy and Best Adult will be awarded. Junior Showmanship classes offered will be Novice Junior, Open Junior, Novice Senior & Open Senior.

Please keep underage puppies away from

the Show Ring until Match time

Judges will be posted on match day, but the KMKC reserves the right to substitute judges until the start of the match.

Pre-entry charge is $5. Entries day of show are $7. If a dog is entered in match breed judging, junior showmanship is free. If a dog is just entered for junior showmanship, pre-entry fee is $5, entry day of show is $7.

Pre-entries MUST be post marked by June 20, 2008. Use any AKC entry form. Remember to specify the class.

INDEPENDENT BREED CLUBS

The Kettle Moraine Kennel Club would like you to consider their show site when deciding where to hold your breed's next specialty show. Many of you have attended our all-breed shows in the past two years, and know that we have unlimited outdoor space, and expandable indoor space to accomodate any breed's needs. We have up to 200 RV hook-ups available for exhibitors who come in from all parts of the country, and unlimited camping areas if no services are needed.

Benefits of joining Kettle Moraine Kennel Club weekend (AKC week-end #26 - end of June) include: Beautiful indoor/outdoor show site, and usually good weather, ability to have rally and/or obedience along with breed judging, ability to help select judges for the following and good vendors.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS

A RECORDING FEE of 50¢, and a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. Agility will have a $3.00 AKC Recording Fee for the first entry & $3.00 for each additional entry per dog. Rally Trial will have a $3.00 AKC Recording Fee on each entry of a dog. These Fees are to be collected by the Show-Giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, a $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes will be collected. (There is no recording fee or event service fee for sweepstakes, futurities, brace/team, multi-dog classes, or special attractions.)

IF, BECAUSE OF RIOTS, CIVIL DISTURBANCES, OR OTHER ACTS BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE MANAGEMENT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN OR TO COMPLETE THIS SHOW, NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE. THE WELL BEING OF THE DOGS, EXHIBITORS AND SPECTATORS IS OF PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE, AND IN THE EVENT IT IS NECESSARY TO CANCEL OR STOP THE EVENT BEFORE COMPLETION, NO REFUND OF ENTRY FEE WILL BE MADE.

ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. We will make every effort to find duplicate entries, but if entry is processed, NO REFUND SHALL BE MADE.

THE OWNER OR HANDLER of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. The Show-Giving Club and Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system, or stewards or runners for the purpose of locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.

ALL EXHIBITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND THEIR DOGS!

ENTRY FORM changes, additions, corrections and cancellations MUST be received in writing or by telegram prior to the closing of entries, and MUST INCLUDE AKC NUMBER AND BREED OF DOG. Those received by telephone are NOT acceptable. SUBSTITUTIONS REQUIRE A NEW COMPLETED ENTRY FORM.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE LEGIBLE AND MUST INCLUDE AKC NUMBER OR NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED!! A $1.00 ADMINISTRATIVE/PROCESSING FEE PER ENTRY WILL BE DEDUCTED.

NO ENTRY shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance.

NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED IN THE OFFICE OF ROY JONES DOG SHOWS, INC./SLEEPER, SUPT. IF IT IS RECEIVED AFTER 12:00 NOON ON THE PUBLISHED DAY OF CLOSING. ANY ENTRY RECEIVED AFTER 12:00 NOON ON THE PUBLISHED DAY OF CLOSING WILL BE RETURNED.

DUE TO THE LARGE VOLUME OF ENTRIES COMING IN AT THE LAST MINUTE, ANY ENTRY MISSING CRUCIAL INFORMATION OR ANY FAX ENTRY MISSING AUTHORIZATION FOR US TO USE YOUR CREDIT CARD FOR ENTRY FEES AND FAX FEES, MAY NOT BE CONTACTED AND WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.

ENTRIES WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE with Ident. Card and Judging Program. Should such acknowledgment not be received by the exhibitor within a reasonable time, please notify Roy Jones Dog Shows at 260-925-0525. The person accompanying the dog must show identification before the dog will be received.

THE SHOW-GIVING CLUB, the Show Superintendent, their Agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by the exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians.

ANYONE SMOKING IN THE RINGS will be responsible for any damage done to matting due to extinguishing smoking materials on them!

ONE CHECK IS SUFFICIENT for all entries enclosed. ALL CHECKS must have Show(s) & Breed(s) entered written on the face.

EACH DOG MUST BE ENTERED ON A SEPARATE ENTRY FORM.

ONLY DOGS THAT ARE AKC ELIGIBLE ARE ALLOWED ON THE SHOW GROUNDS.

PLEASE NOTE ALL CHANGES IN INFORMATION on the entry form, otherwise they will not be made.

ALL VIDEOTAPING, PHOTOGRAPHY OR ANY REPRODUCTION OF ANY MEANS during the Show requires Club permission.

$5.00 per entry (subject to change) is added for FAX entries. Along with the front and the back of each entry form, we need a cover letter stating that you authorize Roy Jones Dog Shows, Inc. to use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express for the following entry fees and fax fees. Then you need to print the card number, expiration date, Cardholders name, address, daytime phone number. A written signature on the cover letter is required. This written authorization is required to process faxed entries. CARDHOLDERS WHOSE CHARGES ARE DECLINED BY THE BANK CARD AUTHORIZATION CENTER WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. CREDIT CARD RE-PROCESSING FEE IS $10.00. ALL entries, cancellations, etc., received by fax require show, breed, and AKC number. ALL transactions involving cancellations, class changes, or move-ups will be charged a minimum of $1.00 per entry.
